ROCKPORT CAPITAL CORP. ANNOUNCES THE PASSING OF DIRECTOR JOHN LONDRY

Rockport Capital Corp. director John Londry has passed. On behalf of the board of directors and management team, Rockport Capital extends its deepest sympathies and condolences to Mr. Londry's family and friends.

Mr. Londry was an experienced and seasoned veteran geologist working in mineral exploration since 1969. He was involved in projects ranging from grassroots to advanced and development stages (Holloway, Eagle River and River Valley). Mr. Londry gained a wide and varied experience base in exploration techniques and various commodities. He held senior positions with Noranda Exploration, Hemlo Gold Mines and Battle Mountain Gold. More recently, Mr. Londry was a self-employed geologist and mining consultant with Emerald Geological Services and a director of Rockport Capital and New Age Metals Inc.

Harry Barr, chief executive officer, remarked: "It is with great sadness that we share the news of John's passing and our entire company mourns our loss. John was a well-respected colleague and friend to many. John brought many years of experience, commitment and sense of humour to our lives. His greatest attribute was that he was a true gentleman. He will be missed both personally and professionally."
