QSolar Announces Appointment of Corporate Secretary and Resignation of Director

Calgary, Alberta CANADA, May 09, 2012 /FSC/ - QSolar Limited (QSL - CNSX),(the "Corporation") is pleased to announce that Bill Walker has been appointed to the role of Corporate Secretary.  Mr. Walker is a partner with the law firm McLeod & Company LLP in Calgary, Alberta, and has practiced in the areas of corporate and securities law for more than 20 years. Mr. Walker has been associated with the Corporation from preparation of the reverse take-over and the subsequent listing of the Corporation on the Canadian National Stock Exchange in March 2011.

The Corporation also wishes to announce the resignation of Mr. Neil Ramsay as a director of QSolar for personal reasons.

QSolar trades under the symbol QSL on the Canadian National Stock Exchange ("CNSX").
