Pierre Dion, President and CEO of Quebecor Inc. and Quebecor Media Inc., is pleased to announce the creation of Media Group, the new group dedicated to entertainment and news. Media Group includes TVA Group Inc., Sun Media Corporation, QMI Agency, Out-of-Home, Quebecor Media Sales, Messageries Dynamiques and Quebecor Media Printing Inc.

Media Group will be headed by Julie Tremblay, who becomes President and CEO of this new group. She also will serve as President and CEO of TVA Group Inc.

Julie Tremblay appointed to the Board of Directors of TVA Group Inc.

The Board of Directors of TVA Group Inc. also announces the appointment of Julie Tremblay as Director. In her new role on the TVA Group Board of Directors, she replaces Pierre Dion, who has announced he is resigning from the Board, but will remain a permanent guest of the Board.

Julie Tremblay has worked for Quebecor since 1989. She was Human Resources Vice-President for eight years and Chief Operating Officer for Sun Media Corporation, before becoming CEO in 2013. Prior to joining Quebecor, Julie practiced law with a major law firm. She has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 1984, and earned her BA in political science at McGill University.
