Woodbridge, Ontario / TheNewswire / June 29, 2015 - Pivotal Therapeutics Inc. (OTCQX:PVTTF; CSE:PVO), ("Pivotal" or the "Company"), a specialty pharmaceutical company with a focus on Omega-3 therapies for cardiovascular disease and overall health, announced that it proposes to raise up to $1,540,000 through a non-brokered private placement of up to 22,000,000 common shares of the Company at a price of $0.07 per common share. Finders' fees will be paid in connection with the private placement.

The completion of the financing is dependent upon receiving the prior written consent of the Company's existing Convertible Promissory Note Holders, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld or delayed. One significant Note Holder has already given their consent.

The net proceeds of the private placement will be used for general working capital.
