APPOINTMENT OF BANKRUPTCY TRUSTEE

Pure Extracts Technologies Corp.'s wholly owned subsidiary, Pure Extracts Manufacturing Corp., has filed an assignment in bankruptcy under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada). The subsidiary is no longer able to meet its financial obligations and has appointed Pricewaterhouse Coopers Inc. as its licensed insolvency trustee to seek settlement with its creditors.

The company also announces that Yana Popova has tendered her resignation as chief financial officer, corporate secretary and a director of the company, and Sean Bromley has tendered his resignation as a director of the company, effective immediately.
