The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Purpose Structured Equity Yield Fund will be listed at 5:01 p.m. on Aug. 5, 2026, for trading at the open on Aug. 6, 2026. According to the TSX, there will be 100,000 shares of the exchange-traded fund (ETF) issued and outstanding, with no securities reserved for issuance. The shares will trade under the symbol PSY, in Canadian dollars and with Cusip No. 74643Y 10 3.
The TSX reports that the ETF seeks to provide investors with: (i) the
opportunity for long-term capital appreciation; (ii) stable,
monthly distributions; and (iii) less downside risk than a
direct investment in the broad equity markets by investing,
directly or indirectly, in a broad portfolio of North American and global equity securities and partially hedging the
portfolio's downside risk. According to the TSX, the ETF expects to pay distributions, if any, on an annual basis.
The ETF's manager is Purpose Investments Inc., its transfer agent and registrar is TSX Trust Company at its principal office in Toronto, and its fiscal year-end is Dec. 31. As stated in amendment No. 3 dated June 12, 2026, to the simplified
prospectus dated April 17, 2025, as amended by
amendment No. 1 dated Aug. 1, 2025, and amendment
No. 2 dated May 13, 2026, the ETF is issuing 100,000 shares at $20 per share in its initial public offering. It expects to close the offering on Aug. 5, 2026. The designated market-maker is National Bank Financial Inc.
