PARAMOUNT RESOURCES LTD. ANNOUNCES ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING RESULTS

The seven director nominees as shown in the attached table were elected at today's annual general meeting of Paramount Resources Ltd. shareholders.

In addition, the reappointment of Ernst & Young LLP, chartered professional accountants, as auditor of the company was approved with 113,937,686 (98.80 per cent) of the votes cast for and 1,379,538 (1.20 per cent) votes withheld.
