LOYALIST APPOINTS ERROL FARR AS DIRECTOR

Loyalist Exploration Ltd. has appointed Errol Farr, CPA, CMA as a director to fill the vacancy on the board created by the retirement of a prior board member previously disclosed. Mr. Farr is a seasoned financial and mining professional with over 35 years of experience in financial management and reporting, operations, business optimization, and strategy development. He is the former chief executive officer of Adex Mining Inc., a polymetallic mining project in New Brunswick, and former chief financial officer of Anaconda Mining Inc., a gold producer in Newfoundland, Canada. He is currently chief financial officer, chief operating officer and/or corporate secretary of several other publicly traded companies, including Spruce Ridge Resources as corporate secretary, a mining exploration company with projects in Oregon and Newfoundland.

Commenting on the appointment, president and chief executive officer John O'Donnell stated, "We are pleased to have Errol join us to complement our board with his vast experience in the industry."
