Postmedia Network Canada Corp. is acting decisively to position itself for growth and sustainable long-term performance. As the company adapts to shifting consumer behaviours and a rapidly changing media landscape, it is taking deliberate steps to strengthen its position as Canada's leading media voice and a trusted partner for businesses across the country.

Following a comprehensive review of its flyer distribution operations across Canada, Postmedia has made the strategic decision to exit the flyer distribution business. This transition reflects a clear focus on directing investment and resources towards areas of greatest impact and future opportunity, while strengthening the company's ability to serve communities and businesses across the country through the company's award-winning journalism and wider business portfolio.

Flyer distribution operations will exit markets on a phased basis beginning June 8 and completing in full by Aug. 31, 2026.

This decision will impact approximately 50 full-time and 200 part-time roles connected to Postmedia's flyer distribution network. Postmedia is committed to supporting affected employees through this transition.
