(TSX.V: PMD) ("Prima" or the "Company") announces that effective immediately David Hodge, President, Zimtu Capital Corp. has been appointed interim President of Prima Diamond Corp. For business reasons, Robert Bick has resigned as the Company's President/CEO and will remain on the Prima Board of Directors. The Board wishes to express its appreciation to Robert for his dedicated service to the Company and wishes him best success in his future endeavors. David Hodge Mr. David Hodge has been President of Zimtu Capital Corp. since July, 2008 and has extensive experience in the management and financing of publicly traded resource companies. Mr. Hodge's success has been founded on a belief in team building, consultation and strong leadership, as well as a willingness to incorporate expert advice into a viable working enterprise. Mr. Hodge also serves on the Board of Directors of Western Potash Corp., Commerce Resources Corp., Equitas Resources Corp. and Pasinex Resources Ltd. Prima Properties The Godspeed and Munn Lake properties are located in the North West Territories, home to three prolific diamond mines - Diavik, Ekati and Snap Lake. Gahcho Ku� (51% De Beers) reported to be "the largest and richest new diamond mine in the world" (source: Mountain Province Diamonds website) will begin diamond production in 2016. Prima's Godspeed property borders Gahcho Ku� on the south and is within 5 kilometers of the heart of the Gahcho Ku� diamond-bearing kimberlite cluster. Prima's Munn Lake Property is north of Gahcho Ku� and is host to a diamond-bearing kimberlite, a diamond-bearing boulder field and four additional kimberlite targets. Mini-bulk samples of drill core and boulders on this property reportedly returned diamonds, including a significant proportion of macro-diamonds (see Southern Era news releases: 2/18/1999, 6/8/1999, 10/5/2000).
