PLASCRED CIRCULAR INNOVATIONS INC. ENTERS MOU WITH CN RAIL

Plascred Circular Innovations Inc. has released an update on its continued collaboration with Canadian National Railway Company (CN).

Plascred is pleased to announce a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with CN. This partnership emphasizes Plascred's commitment to the circular economy, significantly enhanced by CN's unparalleled logistical support. The collaboration is set to transform Plascred's operations, leveraging CN's expansive logistics network to facilitate the growth and distribution of Plascred's innovative solutions across North America.

"CN is supporting growth in rapidly developing sustainable supply chains, including the circular economy of plastics. We are pleased to sign this MOU and we look forward to working with Plascred and combining CN's best-in-class logistics team with their mission," stated Buck Rogers, vice-president, petroleum and chemicals, of CN.

Collaborative scope:

1. The MOU formalizes a partnership to evaluate the feasibility of transporting at least 300,000 kilograms of mixed waste plastics and 2,000 barrels per day of liquid product through CN's rail network.
2. The MOU includes the proposed construction of Plascred's initial Maximus plant at CN's Scotford yard. This plan is contingent on the progress and outcome of continuing lease negotiations.
3. CN will assist Plascred in identifying CN-accessible rail origins for waste plastics. These sites may include CN-operated transload or third party accessible sites. Plascred will develop all or an amalgamation of the following offloading sites exclusively on CN:
   1. Alberta Industrial Heartland;
   2. Greater Chicago Area;
   3. Gulf Coast, United States.
