Pacific Ridge signs exploration deals with first nation

2026-10-08 16:29 ET - News Release

Mr. Blaine Monaghan reports

PACIFIC RIDGE SIGNS EXPLORATION AGREEMENTS WITH TSAY KEH DENE NATION FOR THE KLIYUL AND RDP COPPER-GOLD PROJECTS

Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. has entered into exploration agreements with Tsay Keh Dene Nation (TKD) for the Kliyul copper-gold project and the RDP copper-gold project, both located in north-central British Columbia.

The agreements establish a mutually beneficial and co-operative relationship whereby communication and collaboration between TKD and Pacific Ridge are key factors, providing the parties certainty in their relationship throughout the advancement of Kliyul and RDP copper-gold projects.

"Building enduring, respectful relationships with first nations is foundational to our vision of becoming British Columbia's leading copper exploration company," said Blaine Monaghan, president and chief executive officer of Pacific Ridge. "These agreements reflect our commitment to environmental stewardship, transparent communication and collaborative engagement. They establish a strong framework for responsibly advancing the Kliyul and RDP copper-gold projects while providing greater certainty and confidence for both Tsay Keh Dene Nation and our shareholders."

About Kliyul

Owned 100 per cent by Pacific Ridge, Kliyul is over 90 square kilometres in size and is located in the prolific Quesnel terrane close to existing infrastructure, approximately eight kilometres to the Omineca resource road and a 230-kilovolt high-voltage power line. The Kliyul Main zone (KMZ) hosts 334.1 million tonnes grading 0.33 per cent copper equivalent (0.15 per cent copper, 0.26 gram per tonne gold and 0.95 gram per tonne silver) (see Table 1) or 386 million tonnes grading 0.459 gram per tonne gold equivalent (0.236 gram per tonne gold, 0.142 per cent copper and 0.911 gram per tonne silver) (see Table 2) in the inferred mineral resource category and remains open for expansion.

In addition to KMZ, multiple untested targets remain along a six-kilometre porphyry copper-gold trend characterized by favourable geology, geochemistry, alteration and geophysical signatures, including the M39 target area. M39 is associated with a one-kilometre-long copper and gold soil anomaly. The target hosts monzonite dikes, magnetite skarn, sodic alteration, chalcopyrite-mineralized quartz veins as well as two circular magnetic anomalies. The company completed four diamond drill holes, totalling 1,524 metres, at M39 this year. Results will be reported when the assays are received, reviewed and interpreted.

About RDP

Owned 100 per cent by Pacific Ridge, RDP is over 100 square kilometres in size and is located in the Golden Horseshoe at the southern end of the Toodoggone district, one of Canada's hottest exploration districts. The company completed 3,010 metres of drilling in five holes at the Day target this year.

Drill holes RDP-26-017, RDP-26-018 and RDP-26-019, totalling 1,958 metres, tested the western magnetic lobe and followed up on drill hole RDP-25-014, which returned 130.8 metres of 0.47 per cent copper equivalent or 0.70 gram per tonne gold equivalent (0.30 per cent copper, 0.24 gram per tonne gold or 1.34 grams per tonne silver) (see news release dated Oct. 23, 2025) from a vertical depth of approximately 450 metres.

These drill holes confirmed continuous copper-sulphide mineralization (chalcopyrite plus or minus bornite) from vertical depths of approximately 170 metres over lengths greater than 300 metres. Further, the results indicate that porphyry mineralization in the western magnetic lobe is not directly correlated with airborne magnetic vector inversion highs and that magnetic gradients and lows may also host mineralization, broadening the exploration search space at Day. Results will be reported when the assays are received, reviewed and interpreted.
