PETROLYMPIC LTD. ANNOUNCES CLOSING OF PRIVATE PLACEMENT FINANCING

Petrolympic Ltd. has completed a non-brokered private placement of five million common shares of the company on a flow-through basis at a price of eight cents per FT share for aggregate gross proceeds of $400,000.

In connection with the offering, the company paid finders' commissions of an aggregate of $12,000 and issued an aggregate of 150,000 finders' shares at eight cents per finder's share.

The securities issued under the offering have a hold period of four months and one day from the date of issuance.

The company will use the net proceeds of the offering to explore the company's mineral properties located in Quebec.

Option grant

The company also announces that a total of 850,000 options to purchase common shares of the company have been granted to a director of the company at an exercise price of 10 cents per share, expiring on April 22, 2029. These options are replacing recently expired options and quarterly in equal amounts over 12 months from issuance.
