PACIFIC BAY MINERALS GRANTS INCENTIVE STOCK OPTIONS

Pacific Bay Minerals Ltd. has granted 2.05 million incentive stock options to officers and directors of the company. The options are exercisable at five cents per share for a period of three years from the date of grant. The options have been granted under, and are governed by, the terms of the company's incentive stock option plan.

Pacific Bay currently has a portfolio of properties in British Columbia's Golden Triangle, including the Haskins Reed, 30 kilometres east of the Cassiar townsite, and Wheaton Creek projects.
