PACIFIC BAY MINERALS LTD. APPOINTS JOAO ALEXANDRE AS DIRECTOR

Joao Alexandre Almeida Vieira is moving into the role of director of Pacific Bay Minerals Ltd., effective immediately.

Mr. Vieira has been involved in mining exploration for over 15 years and has experience in prospecting, property evaluation, exploration and development. He owns and operates an aviation business working in Brazil, Africa and the United States. Mr. Vieira holds a BBA from Anhembi Morumbi University.

"Joao's extensive experience owning and operating businesses in Brazil, as well as his overall background in mining and exploration, bring invaluable perspectives to the board of directors," said Reagan Glazier, president and chief executive officer of Pacific Bay. "We welcome him to the board and look forward to his contributions and helping move the company forward."
