ORFORD MINING CORPORATION ANNOUNCES MAILING OF MEETING MATERIALS FOR SPECIAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS

Orford Mining Corp. has completed the mailing of its management information circular and related materials for the company's special meeting of shareholders to be held on March 27, 2024, at 10 a.m. (Toronto time) at 66 Wellington St. West, suite 4100, Toronto, Ont., M5K 1B7.

At the meeting, shareholders will be asked to approve a plan of arrangement pursuant to which Alamos Gold Inc. will acquire all of the outstanding common shares of Orford not already owned by Alamos, for deemed consideration of 10 cents per Orford share, as further detailed in the company's press release dated Jan. 15, 2024, available on SEDAR+.

The board of directors of Orford (with the abstention of the interested Director) unanimously recommends that Orford shareholders vote for the resolution approving the arrangement.
