2023-09-01 18:04 ET - News Release

Mr. Max Schwartz reports

ORGANIGRAM ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF BOARD MEMBER

Caroline Ferland has resigned from Organigram Holdings Inc.'s board of directors effective immediately. Ms. Ferland was a board member nominee appointed by BAT.

"In her short time on the board, Ms. Ferland made considerable contributions to Organigram," said Peter Amirault, chair of Organigram's board of directors. "In addition to providing meaningful involvement on the strategic planning and corporate governance fronts, Ms. Ferland used her extensive international experience in legal and regulatory matters to support the company, providing solid strategic guidance on several matters."

Ms. Ferland is leaving Organigram's board of directors as a result of her appointment to group company secretary and assistant general counsel for BAT, based in the United Kingdom. The board of directors and the company's management team would like to thank Ms. Ferland for her valuable contributions to Organigram and wish her well in her new role.

BAT has informed Organigram that it expects to appoint a replacement nominee in due course. Simon Ashton continues to serve on the board as one of BATs two contractual nominees.
