OLIVE RESOURCE CAPITAL PROVIDES UPDATE ON INVESTMENTS FOR JUNE 2026

Olive Resource Capital Inc. has provided investors an update on its investments for the period ended June 30, 2026.

Samuel Pelaez, the company's president, chief executive officer, chief investment officer and director, stated: "Crude oil and copper were the best performing major commodities in the first half of 2026. Conversely, precious metals posted negative performance for the same period after strong gains in the 2025. Equities generally tracked their reference commodity prices. With the best seasonal period for natural resource equities already behind us, at Olive, we continue to deploy capital cautiously and in companies with tangible catalysts."

Derek Macpherson, the company's executive chairman, stated: "June was a challenging month for resource commodities and the related equities; however, Olive's above average cash position, along with the strength of the portfolio, reduced the impact on portfolio value. Reduced geopolitical risk, particularly with respect to energy, have stabilized the markets and risk appetites, resulting in strong performance in resource equities early in July."

Normal course issuer bid

During the month of June, the company repurchased 16,000 common shares pursuant to the NCIB. As of the date of this release, the company holds 4,016,000 common shares in treasury pending cancellation.

As of the date of this release, Olive Resource has 107,207,209 common shares outstanding inclusive of the shares in treasury pending cancellation.
