LAS VEGAS, NV, Jan. 30, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - NYX Gaming Group Ltd. (TSXV:NYX) ("NYX Gaming Group") announced today that the underwriters of its initial public offering and secondary offering of its shares have exercised in full their over-allotment option to purchase an additional 1,286,000 shares of NYX Gaming Group at Cdn$3.50 from Verdane NVP II Associates SPV K/S and Verdane NVP II SPV K/S (the "Selling Shareholders") bringing the aggregate transaction size to 14,144,000 shares or Cdn$49.5 million.
This brings the total number of common shares sold by the Selling Shareholders in the secondary offering to 8,429,000. NYX Gaming Group did not issue or sell any shares as part of the over-allotment option and will not receive any proceeds from the exercise of the over-allotment option.
The previously announced offering was made through a syndicate of underwriters led by Canaccord Genuity Corp. and comprised of Cormark Securities Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., Dundee Securities Ltd., Global Maxfin Capital Inc. and Mackie Research Capital Corporation.
McCarthy Tétrault LLP acted as Canadian counsel to NYX Gaming Group and Stikeman Elliott LLP acted as Canadian counsel to the underwriters.
