("Nordex" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:NXX) is pleased to announce that Duncan Middlemiss has been appointed to the Board of Directors, subject to TSX Venture Exchange ("TSXV") approval. Mr. Middlemiss is the President & Chief Executive Officer, as well as a director, of St Andrew Goldfields Ltd. ("SAS"), a gold mining and exploration company focused on the Timmins mining district. Mr. Middlemiss joined SAS in July 2008 as General Manager and Vice President Operations, later assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer; he was appointed to his current position on October 1st, 2013. He earned a B.Sc. in mining engineering at Queen's University in 1989 and worked for Inco Limited (now Vale Canada Limited) as Mine Design Engineer until 1995. At that time, he joined Barrick Gold Corp and held the position of Chief Mine Engineer at the Holt-McDermott Mine until 2002. He then joined Kirkland Lake Gold Inc. at their Kirkland Lake Operations, where he held the positions of Mine Engineering & Production Manager, and later was appointed Mine Manager.
