Ms. Barbara Dunfield, a shareholder, reports

ACQUISITION OF COMMON SHARES OF NEWPORT EXPLORATION LTD.

This news release, issued by Barbara Dunfield, is issued pursuant to early warning requirements of National Instrument 62-104 and National Instrument 62-103 relating to common shares of Newport Exploration Ltd.

On Sept. 18, 2025, Ms. Dunfield acquired 5,436,000 shares of Newport by way of a private transaction, at a price of eight cents per share for total consideration of $434,880.

Prior to the acquisition, Ms. Dunfield had beneficial ownership and control over 4.53 million shares of Newport (4.29 per cent).

Following the acquisition, Ms. Dunfield has ownership and control over 9,966,000 shares of Newport (9.44 per cent). If, Ms. Dunfield were to exercise the three million options she holds, her security holding percentage would increase to 11.94 per cent of the outstanding shares.

Ms. Dunfield acquired Newport shares for investment purposes and may acquire or dispose of Newport shares in the future.
