Mr. Paul Jones reports
NUINSCO ANNOUNCES ADOPTION OF SEMI-ANNUAL REPORTING
Nuinsco Resources Ltd. has elected to rely on Coordinated Blanket Order 51-933
(Exemptions to Permit Semi-Annual Reporting for Certain Venture Issuers) and adopt semi-annual financial reporting, beginning with its third quarter reporting period ended Sept. 30, 2026.
The blanket order permits eligible venture issuers to voluntarily move from quarterly to semi-annual financial reporting by providing exemptions from the requirement to file interim financial reports and related management's discussion and analysis for their first and third quarters.
The company has filed its interim financial reports and related MD&A for the three months ended March 31, 2026, and the six months ended June 30, 2026. Having satisfied the eligibility requirements under the blanket order, the company will first rely on the exemption for the nine-month interim period ended Sept. 30, 2026. Accordingly, Nuinsco will not file an interim financial report or related MD&A for that period.
Nuinsco's financial year ends on Dec. 31. Under the semi-annual reporting framework, the company will continue to file:
-
Audited annual financial statements and related annual MD&A within 120 days of its financial year-end; and
-
Six-month interim financial reports and related MD&A within 60 days of June 30 each year.
The company's next scheduled financial reporting will therefore be its audited annual financial statements and related MD&A for the year ending Dec. 31, 2026.
The company intends to continue relying on the exemption for subsequent first and third quarter reporting periods, subject to its continued eligibility and the availability of the applicable exemptions. Adopting semi-annual reporting is intended to reduce reporting costs and administrative requirements, allowing management to devote additional resources to advancing the company's exploration and development activities.
Nuinsco will continue to comply with its other continuous disclosure obligations, including timely disclosure of material changes and applicable Canadian Securities Exchange reporting requirements.
This news release is being filed pursuant to Coordinated Blanket Order 51-933 (Exemptions to Permit Semi-Annual Reporting for Certain Venture Issuers).
