THE NORTH WEST COMPANY INC. ANNOUNCES ELECTION OF DIRECTORS

North West Company Inc. shareholders voted in favour of all items of business put forth by the company at its annual general meeting of shareholders held on June 11, 2025, including the election of all the director nominees listed in the notice of meeting and management information circular dated April 9, 2025 (see an attached table).

Given that the total number of votes cast by or on behalf of the holders of North West's variable voting shares at the meeting exceeded 49 per cent of the total number of votes cast at the meeting, the results herein reflect the fact that the vote attached to each variable voting share decreased automatically, without further act or formality, so that the variable voting shares as a class did not carry more than 49 per cent of the total number of votes cast at the meeting.
