Calgary, Alberta / TheNewswire / February 24, 2017 - NovaMeric (Pty) Ltd. (" NovaMeric ") issues this press release pursuant to Part 3 - Early Warning Requirements of National Instrument 62-103 with respect to NovaTeqni Corporation (the " Issuer ").

On February 23, 2017, NovaMeric sold an aggregate of 4,000,000 common shares of the Issuer in accordance with the terms of two private agreements dated January 30, 2017 (the " Agreements ") between NovaMeric and two arm's length third parties . The 4,000,000 common shares disposed of by NovaMeric represent approximately 12.4% of the 32,236,815 issued and outstanding common shares of the Issuer. Prior to this disposition, NovaMeric owned 17,424,051 common shares of the Issuer. Following this disposition, NovaMeric owns an aggregate of 13,424,051 common shares of the Issuer which represents approximately 41.6% of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Issuer (non-diluted).

These securities were acquired pursuant to the terms of the Agreements. In the future, de pending on economic or market conditions or matters relating to the Issuer, NovaMeric may choose to either acquire additional securities or dispose of securities of the Issuer. NovaMeric has no present intention to acquire additional securities of the Issuer. The common shares of the Issuer are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the trading symbol "NTQ".
