NATURALLY SPLENDID ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR

Naturally Splendid Enterprises Ltd. has appointed Larry Gilmour to the board of directors.

Mr. Gilmour's professional career began in sales and marketing with internationally recognized brands such as: Libby's (Libby, McNeil and Libby); Playtex Corp.; and Black and Decker. Mr. Gilmour has also owned and operated chain grocery outlets including owner/operator of a Super Valu grocery store in Vancouver, B.C., for over five years. He has a successful record taking businesses with existing consumer bases and growing that business. Mr. Gilmour joined Independent Pharmacist Inc. where he leveraged his sales, marketing and management skills to drive membership significantly, increasing sales tenfold from $2-million to $22-million over a span of four years. When the business was sold, Mr. Gilmour turned to building another business, Vancouver Wholesale Drugs, in which he was a partner and general manager overseeing a sales increase from $5-million to $70-million in just six years. Mr. Gilmour then returned to the grocery world purchasing an IGA grocery store in Vancouver, B.C., that he operated for over eight years. More recently, Mr. Gilmour has been advising small- to medium-business owners in infrastructure, financing, sales and marketing.

Mr. Gilmour states: "I've had an opportunity to observe the evolution of Naturally Splendid over the past few years. I truly believe the varied career I have had, with the skills and lessons learned in sales and marketing, as well as my direct experience in the retail grocery space, is a combination that will be a great fit with the existing team at Naturally Splendid."

With the appointment of Mr. Gilmour to the board of directors, the company has also accepted the resignation of Russ Crawford from the board of directors of Naturally Splendid. The company thanks Mr. Crawford for his participation on the board and wishes him well in all future endeavours.
