Mr. Rob Turley reports
AUDITED ANNUAL STATEMENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED MARCH 31, 2025
Plaintree Systems Inc. has released its audited consolidated financial statements and related management's discussions and analysis for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025.
During fiscal 2025, Plaintree realized revenues from operations of $23,847,195, down from revenues of $24,204,805 in fiscal 2024. Plaintree ended fiscal 2025 year with a net loss before income tax expense and impairment of $815,531 compared with a gain of $1,174,305 in fiscal 2024.
"This year was a challenging one from a geopolitical perspective," said David Watson, chief executive officer. "The ongoing recertification process for some appliances that Elmira has been going through has delayed order shipments, and, now, the tariff uncertainty that has affected our biggest market, the U.S., has had a huge negative impact on Elmira appliances and led to a $1,112,870 inventory provision and a $995,621 impairment. Also, the recently announced closure of the Summit division was after it accumulated a $416,059 loss on the year after Summit's largest customer lost its key customer.
"The remaining divisions continue to provide strong performance."
