The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Feb. 23, edition that BMO Capital analyst Ben Pham has reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Northland Power. The Globe's David Leeder writes that Mr. Pham cut his share target by a loonie to $30. Analysts on average target the shares at $31.92. Mr. Pham says in a note: "Northland Power shares have performed better of late due to lower interest rates, derisking of its offshore wind growth roster, and an improved balance sheet position. However, valuation still remains attractive and Northland management is capitalizing on its core strength in constructing renewable power projects. We still see a significant opportunity for share price and valuation upside as Northland continues to execute on growth and improve visibility of the FCF inflection." The Globe reported on Nov. 10 that Mr. Pham was sticking with his "outperform" recommendation for Northland Power. The shares could then be had for $21.57. The Globe reported on Jan. 31 that RBC Dominion Securities analysts rated Northland Power "outperform." The shares could then be had for $24.80. The Globe's Ian McGugan said on Feb. 10 that Northland Power was starting to look attractive. The shares were then worth $23.12.
