NORRLAND ANNOUNCES PROPOSED NAME CHANGE

Subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval, Norrland Gold Corp. intends to proceed with a name change to Great Plains Metals Corp.

Aidan Bishop, director, commented: "We are pleased to change our name to Great Plains Metals Corp. to better reflect our growing presence in Australia, a Tier 1 mineral jurisdiction with a topography of vast open plains, which provides for easy access for drilling."
