MANTARO CHANGES NAME TO FIRST ANDES SILVER LTD.

Mantaro Precious Metals Corp. has changed its name to First Andes Silver Ltd. The company's common shares will commence trading under the new name on the TSX Venture Exchange effective open of markets on April 23, 2024. The new stock symbol will be FAS.

The Cusip number assigned to the company's shares following the name change will be 31866G102. No action will be required by existing shareholders with respect to the name change. Certificates representing common shares of under the old name will not be affected by the name change and will not need to be exchanged.
