Makena Resources Inc. ("Makena", "MKN" or the "Company") wishes to provide an update on the status of its non-brokered
---> private placement that was previously announced on June 22, 2015, July 14, 2015, August 11, 2015 and September 9, 201
--->5. The Company closed the first tranche closing consisted of the issuance of a total of 10,400,000 common shares at a 
--->price of $0.025 per common share for gross proceeds of $260,000.  The Company has requested and received a further 30 
--->day extension from the TSX Venture Exchange to close the remainder of the private placement. 
Negar Adam, President of Makena states, "We are in the process of obtaining documentation from several placees, theref
--->ore we asked for an extension to receive the subscriptions in time.  We have just recently received drill permits and
