MAPLE LEAF GREEN WORLD INC. ANNOUNCES FILING OF FY2024 YEAR-END AND FY2025 TWO QUARTERS INTERIM STATEMENTS AND AUDITOR'S RESIGNATION

Maple Leaf Green World Inc. has filed its audited consolidated financial statements and management's discussion and analysis for the year ended Dec. 31, 2024, together with its unaudited interim consolidated financial statements and management's discussion and analysis for the three-month and six-month periods ended March 31, 2025, and June 30, 2025, respectively.

Cease trade order revocation update

With the completion of these required filings, the company is positioned to apply for the revocation of the cease trade order issued by the Alberta Securities Commission on May 6, 2025, due to delays in filing certain documents under applicable securities laws. Management intends to submit the revocation application promptly and is working diligently with regulators to resolve this matter and reinstate normal trading of the company's securities as soon as possible.

Resignation of auditor and engagement of successor

In a related matter, the company received a resignation letter dated Sept. 8, 2025, from MS Partners LLP, its independent auditor, for the year ended Dec. 31, 2024. MS Partners indicated that it is resigning from the Canadian Public Accountability Board to focus on new services and, as a result, will not be able to perform the company's annual audit for the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, 2025. There were no disagreements or reportable events with MS Partners regarding the 2024 audit.

The board of directors has commenced the process of engaging a new independent auditor and will make an announcement once the appointment is finalized.
