MAPLE PEAK ANNOUNCES TERMINATION OF LETTER OF INTENT WITH
CITIZEN JOURNALISM NETWORK (CJN) INVEST LTD.
Vancouver, Canada, June 27, 2025 - Maple Peak Investments Inc. (TSXV - MAP) ("MAP" or the "Company") and Citizen Journalism Network (CJN) Invest Ltd. ("CJN") have mutually and amicably agreed to terminate the Letter of Intent ("LOI") dated May 10, 2024, in relation to the proposed acquisition of MAP by CJN by way of a reverse takeover (the "Transaction"). The Transaction was previously announced in news releases dated May 13, 2024, December 23, 2024, and March 6, 2025.
MAP's common shares were previously halted from trading in connection with the proposed Transaction with CJN. The Company will request the TSX Venture Exchange (the "TSXV") to issue a bulletin for resumption of trading of the Company's common shares on the TSXV.
The TSXV has in no way passed upon the merits of the proposed Transaction and has neither approved nor disapproved the contents of this news release.
