MAPLE PEAK ANNOUNCES TERMINATION OF LETTER OF INTENT WITH CITIZEN JOURNALISM NETWORK (CJN) INVEST LTD.

Maple Peak Investments Inc. and Citizen Journalism Network (CJN) Invest Ltd. have mutually and amicably agreed to terminate the letter of intent (LOI) dated May 10, 2024, in relation to the proposed acquisition of Maple Peak by CJN by way of a reverse takeover. The transaction was previously announced in news releases dated May 13, 2024, Dec. 23, 2024, and March 6, 2025.

Maple Peak's common shares were previously halted from trading in connection with the proposed transaction with CJN. The company will request the TSX Venture Exchange to issue a bulletin for resumption of trading of the company's common shares on the TSX-V.
