Mr. Kevin Zhou reports
LYNX COMMENCES EXPLORATION PROGRAM AT THE TURNER'S RIDGE PROPERTY
Lynx Resources Corp. has commenced the field component of its phase 1 exploration program at its Turner's Ridge property, located in western Newfoundland, Canada.
The program has been designed to follow up on priority lead-zinc-silver targets identified through historical exploration and the company's 2023 exploration campaign and is based on the recommendations outlined in the technical report for the property prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101, Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. A copy of the technical report can be found under the company's profile on SEDAR+.
Phase 1 field program
Highlights of the program include:
- The collection of soil samples to further define previously identified lead-zinc-silver geochemical anomalies;
- A three-line-kilometre two-dimensional induced polarization and resistivity (2-D IP) survey to further evaluate priority exploration targets;
- Mechanical trenching and channel sampling to expose and evaluate bedrock within selected target areas.
The program follows encouraging results from Lynx's 2023 exploration campaign, which successfully identified a strong north-south lead geochemical anomaly extending beyond the known Turner's Ridge occurrence and confirmed high-grade lead-silver-zinc mineralization through channel sampling. These results provide the foundation for the company's current follow-up exploration program.
"Commencing our first exploration program as a public company is an important milestone for Lynx," said Kevin Zhou, president and chief executive officer of Lynx. "Our 2023 exploration program indicated that the Turner's Ridge lead occurrence extends beyond the historically exposed mineralization and identified several compelling targets for follow-up work. This phase 1 program is expected to help us refine those targets and advance the property."
The company will provide further updates as the program progresses and results become available.
