The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Laurentian Bank of Canada common shares (symbol LB) will be delisted at the close on Nov. 3, 2026. According to the TSX, Fairstone Bank of Canada, through a wholly owned subsidiary, has acquired all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Laurentian Bank, pursuant to the terms of a transaction agreement entered into between Fairstone Bank and Laurentian Bank on Dec. 2, 2025, as amended and assigned.

The TSX reports that Laurentian Bank common shareholders will ultimately receive $40.50 in cash per common share held. To receive the consideration, shareholders must return the letter of transmittal together with accompanying share certificates (if applicable) to Computershare Investor Services Inc. at its principal offices in Toronto.

The TSX notes that the non-cumulative Class A preferred shares, Series 13 (symbol LB.PR.H), of Laurentian Bank will remain outstanding in accordance with their terms following completion of the acquisition transaction and remain an obligation of Laurentian Bank. The preferred shares, Series 13, will, until further notice, continue to be listed and posted for trading on the TSX under their current name, description, symbol and Cusip number.
