KIRKSTONE APPOINTS JAMES ROMANO TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
James Romano has joined the board of directors of Kirkstone Metals Corp., effective immediately. Mr. Romano fills the vacancy created by Peter Born, who has stepped down from the board to focus on other ventures. The board of directors of the company thanks Mr. Born for his service to the company.
Mr. Romano brings to the company several decades of senior management experience in private and public organizations in a number of diverse operational environments. These range from fostering consensus within public/private partnerships for environmental recycling, proposing and enabling improved health care delivery, leading harmonious outcomes within relationally complex social-/hospitality-/art-industry management settings, mentoring entrepreneurism, and delivering results in the natural resource sector, all while applying corporate finance and investor communications across the board.
About Kirkstone Metals Corp.
The company is engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in Canada. The company currently holds a 100-per-cent interest in mineral claims totalling approximately 7,000 hectares comprising the Gorilla Lake property, located in Northern Saskatchewan, Canada, subject to a royalty obligation. The phase 1 exploration program at the property consists of geological mapping, prospecting and geochemical sampling based on the anomalies identified by the company's Heli-TEM survey and integration with other available data sets. The company's secondary objective is to locate and develop other economic precious and base metals properties of merit.
