KIPLIN METALS IDENTIFIES HIGH-PRIORITY URANIUM DRILL TARGET AT LLOYD LAKE PROJECT IN ATHABASCA BASIN, SAKSATCHEWAN

Kiplin Metals Inc. has identified a high-priority drill target following integration of recent MT (magnetotelluric) survey data (see press release dated June 25, 2026) with historic data sets at its wholly owned Lloyd Lake uranium project, just south of the Athabasca basin.

The 2026 mobile MT survey identified a multikilometre resistive anomaly situated within a northeast-trending, magnetic-low feature. The resistive anomaly, which extends to a depth of approximately 500 metres into the basement, is coincident with a series of northeast-trending electromagnetic (EM) conductors identified by a 2013 (versatile time-domain electromagnetic) VTEM survey conducted by the Athabasca Nuclear Syndicate.

The company has ranked this target zone (TZ-1) as a high-priority exploration target as the coincident resistive, magnetic and conductive features represent a classic basement-hosted signature for uranium exploration in the Athabasca basin.

TZ-1 is further supported by results from historical ground exploration and geochemical sampling. Both radon gas surveys and lake-sediment sampling programs have identified anomalous uranium within the target area, providing additional evidence of a prospective uranium-bearing system.

About the Lloyd Lake project

The Lloyd Lake uranium project spans 6,177 hectares and is situated 27 kilometres south of the southern boundary of the Athabasca basin. The project has undergone extensive exploration programs, most notably in 2022, with investigations including sediment sampling, airborne magnetics and ground IP (induced polarization) surveys. The key exploration zone is an eight-kilometre corridor characterized by a magnetic low that aligns with a structural break, a locale where anomalous radioactivity has been detected. Access to the project is optimal, facilitated by a provincial highway and well-maintained roads and trails.
