The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, April 10, edition that BMO Nesbitt Burns analyst Jeremy McCrea has reinstated coverage on Kelt Exploration with an "outperform" rating and $8.50 share target. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the shares at $8.18. Mr. McCrea says in a note: "Kelt is a well-capitalized company with significant land acreage focused in the Montney and Charlie Lake plays. As Kelt takes much of its exploration learnings and applies these concepts in a much more aggressive development plan, the company should see top quartile growth over the next couple of years. As investors gain comfort in the quality and duration of this inventory (especially in Oak), a higher multiple premium should be rewarding for shareholders, especially as this growth comes to fruition." The Globe reported on Jan. 11 that National Bank had reaffirmed its "outperform" call for Kelt Exploration. The shares could then be had for $5.67. The Globe reported on March 21 that ATB Capital Markets analyst Patrick O'Rourke continued to rate Kelt Exploration "outperform." The shares could then be had for $6.
