JNR ANNOUNCES CLOSING OF PRIVATE PLACEMENT

JNR Resources Inc. has closed its private placement totalling $400,095. These funds were raised through issuing by JNR a total of 2,353,500 units at a price of 17 cents per unit, each unit consisting of one common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles the holder to acquire one additional common share for a period of two years at a price of 25 cents in the first 12 months and at a price of 30 cents thereafter.

The shares issued pursuant to the private placement and any common shares to be issued upon the exercise of the warrants are subject to a hold period in Canada expiring Dec. 28, 2010.

The funds raised by way of the private placement will be used for exploration programs on JNR's properties located in Saskatchewan and Newfoundland.
