The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, March 15, edition that several analysts raised their share targets on Information Services following an earnings beat this week and the revealing of a five-year plan to double revenue. The Globe's Darcy Keith writes in the Eye On Equities column that CIBC raised its share target to $32 from $31. RBC raised its share target to $27 from $24. Raymond James increased its share target to $34 from $27. Analysts on average target the shares at $31.40. Raymond James analyst Stephen Boland, who rates Information Services "outperform," says in a note: "While the smallest of Information Services' reporting segments, technology solutions has shown a marked improvement in results after COVID led to many project delays and declining growth for the last two years. The performance across this segment was a positive surprise this quarter and management expects continued momentum in 2024. ... Heading into 2024, the recent fee adjustments on the MSA renewal positions the company well for a solid year of double-digit revenue. ... We may see further upside to our current estimates if real estate activity improves sequentially through the year."
