I-Minerals Inc. issues bonus shares and bonus warrants pursuant to Loan Agreement

Vancouver, B.C. - March 29, 2017 - I-Minerals Inc. (TSX.V: IMA; OTCQB: IMAHF) (the "Company") announces, further to it
--->s March 14, 2017 news release, that it has issued 40,761 bonus shares and 40,761 non-transferable bonus warrants to an
---> arm's-length lender pursuant to a loan agreement.  The bonus shares were issued at a deemed price of $0.46 Cdn. per s
--->hare, and the bonus warrants are exercisable at a price of $0.46 Cdn. per share and will expire on the earlier of Dece
--->mber 31, 2018 and the date the amount of the advance pursuant to which the bonus warrants were issued, together with a
--->ll accrued interest thereon, has been repaid in full.  All of the bonus shares and any additional shares which may be 
--->issued pursuant to the exercise of the bonus warrants are subject to a hold period in Canada until July 29, 2017.
