ICG Silver & Gold expands Tuscarora land position

2026-07-29 12:29 ET - News Release

Mr. Steven Sirbovan reports

ICG SILVER & GOLD EXPANDS LAND POSITION WITH NEW "TJ" EPITHERMAL PROSPECT AT THE TUSCARORA DISTRICT, NEVADA

ICG Silver & Gold Ltd. has staked six additional unpatented mineral claims totalling approximately 120 acres within the Tuscarora district in Elko county, Nevada. The newly acquired area, designated the TJ prospect, is considered prospective for epithermal gold-silver mineralization based on mapped Eocene intrusive rocks, favourable structural architecture and encouraging first-hand geological observations from recent field reconnaissance. The company anticipates completing additional sampling and mapping work locally to further define it as a drill target.

The principal geological feature within the northeast trending TJ prospect is a series of Eocene-age porphyritic rhyolite to rhyodacite dikes and related intrusive bodies hosted in Paleozoic sediments. These intrusive rocks crosscut Paleozoic sedimentary rocks and older thrust-fault structures, creating a favourable setting for structural preparation and hydrothermal fluid flow.

"Adding these six claims expands ICG's exposure to another prospective portion of the Tuscarora district," said Korbon McCall, vice-president of exploration "The combination of Eocene intrusive activity, older thrust-fault architecture, hydrothermal brecciation, silicification and multiple stages of infill is consistent with the type of geological preparation we look for when evaluating epithermal gold-silver targets. With 39 samples now awaiting assay results, we expect the analytical data to help prioritize follow-up exploration across the newly acquired ground."

Recent field observations by company geologists identified hydrothermal brecciation, localized rounding and reworking of breccia fragments following initial brecciation, silicification of the host rocks and breccia matrix, and later-stage silica and mineral infill within fractures, open spaces, and breccia voids.

As part of its initial evaluation of the TJ prospect, the company collected 39 rock samples from prospective outcrops, breccias, silicified zones and intrusive contacts. The samples have been submitted for laboratory analysis and assay results are pending.

Update on phase 1 drill program

The company is pleased to announce that assays from initial drilling for the phase 1 drill program will be available in the coming weeks and are on schedule as originally described in the company's news release dated July 6, 2026.

Quality assurance and quality control

Samples are collected under the supervision of company personnel, securely sealed and transported under chain-of-custody procedures to ALS Global Laboratories in Elko, Nev., for sample preparation and analysis.

Samples are prepared using the ALS method PREP-31Y, whereby the sample is crushed to a target of 70 per cent passing two millimetres, a 250-gram subsample is obtained using a rotary splitter, and the split is pulverized to a target of 85 per cent passing 75 micrometres.

Gold is analyzed using Au-GRA21, consisting of a 30-gram fire assay with a gravimetric finish. Multielement analysis is completed using ME-MS61, a four-acid digestion with an ICP-MS finish that provides near-total recovery for a broad suite of elements.

The company's quality assurance and quality control program includes regular insertion of certified reference materials, blanks and duplicate samples into the sample stream. Analytical results and laboratory quality-control data are reviewed and validated by company personnel before public disclosure.

Corporate update

The company is pleased to announce it has engaged German Mining Networks GmbH (GMN) to provide investor relations and shareholder communications services, including investor and shareholder scheduling, communications, and assistance with road shows. GMN is expected to provide the company with the opportunity to broaden its national and international reach by way of introductions to investors in Europe. About ICG Silver & Gold Ltd.

ICG Silver & Gold is a new mineral exploration and development company advancing the Tuscarora district in northern Nevada. The company's strategy is centered on:

  • Advancing the Tuscarora district through systematic exploration and technical studies;
  • Building a district-scale geological model;
  • Progressing the project toward resource definition and future development.

The Tuscarora district is a silver-gold epithermal system located within the intersection of the Carlin and Independence trends, approximately one hour northwest of Elko, Nev. ICG controls 100 per cent of the approximately 10,000-acre land package, on which extensive rock chip sampling, thousands of metres of reverse circulation and core drilling, and tens of kilometres of CSAMT geophysics have been completed. ICG fundamentally believes in the long-term value of precious metals exploration, especially silver and gold, and is led by a technical and management team with extensive experience in exploration, permitting, capital markets and development of mining projects in the Western United States, including Nevada.
