                   HFX Holding Corp. Announces Amendment to Option Agreement

Vancouver, BC   HFX Holding Corp. (TSXV: "HXC") ("HFX" or the "Company") is pleased to
announce that it has entered into an agreement (the "Amending Agreement") with Omineca Mining and
Metals Ltd. ("Omineca") (TSXV: OMM) to amend the option agreement dated February 15, 2013
between the Company and Omineca, granting the Company an option to acquire a 100% interest in the
Kiwi property (the "Kiwi Property"). Pursuant to the Amending Agreement, and subject to the approval
of the TSX Venture Exchange, the Company and Omineca have agreed to the cash payment of $20,000
and the issuance of an aggregate 100,000 common shares of the Company to Omineca in lieu of the
fourth anniversary cash payment of $50,000. The shares issuable pursuant to the Amending Agreement
will be subject to a four-month hold period. All other terms of the Option Agreement remain unchanged.
