                               HFX Holding Corp. Announces Resignation of Director

Vancouver, BC � HFX Holding Corp. (TSXV: "HXC") ("HFX" or the "Company") announces that Mr.
Afzaal Pirzada has resigned from the Board of Directors of the Company to pursue other interests. The
Company and its board of directors thank Mr. Pirzada for his many valuable contributions to the
Company and wish him well in his future endeavors.

About HFX Holding Corp.

The Company recently commenced operations as a Tier 2 mining issuer. Prior to the TSX Venture
Exchange approval of the Company's acquisition of an option to earn a 100% interest in the Kiwi property
located in the Yukon Territory, as the Company's qualifying transaction, HFX Holding Corp. had been a
Capital Pool Company.
