GOLD HUNTER RESOURCES AWARDS EQUITY EXPLORATION CONTRACT FOR THE 2026 INAUGURAL DRILL PROGRAM AT GREAT NORTHERN AND APPOINTS JEFF WILSON AS AN ADVISOR TO THE BOARD
Gold Hunter Resources Inc. has awarded this key contract for its inaugural drill program at the Great Northern project, Newfoundland. The company has engaged Equity Exploration Consultants Ltd. to manage all exploration activities, and is already working with Gold Hunter to secure the key subcontractors. With Equity selected to provide the team and support for the company's inaugural 2026 drill program, the company is poised to complete 10,000 metres of diamond drilling.

Exploration management: Equity Exploration Consultants
Equity is a senior geological consulting firm based in Vancouver, B.C., with nearly 40 years of experience managing large, complex drilling programs for both junior and major mining companies across North America. This engagement gives Gold Hunter immediate access to a highly experienced exploration team, supporting vice-president of exploration, Rory Kutluoglu, and his team across geological targeting, program design, on-site supervision, health and safety, and data delivery throughout the 2026 season.
Jeff Wilson: adviser to the board
Mr. Wilson grew up in Scotland and holds a PhD in structural geology from Kingston University (Surrey, United Kingdom). Mr. Wilson has worked for over 20 years in mineral exploration, consulting and market regulation. Former industry roles include director, geology, with Tetra Tech, listings manager with the TSX Venture Exchange, project geologist with Placer Dome Inc. and Fronteer Development Group, senior structural geologist with AngloGold Ashanti in Brazil, and senior geologist with Newcrest Mining in Indonesia. Mr. Wilson lives and works in Vancouver, B.C., and holds a PGeo, designation with Engineers & Geoscientists of B.C. He is currently vice-president, exploration, with Nevada Lithium Resources Inc., which is developing the Bonnie Claire lithium-boron deposit in Nevada, United States.

The scientific and technical information contained in this news release has been reviewed and approved by Rory Kutluoglu, BSc, PGeo, vice-president of exploration for Gold Hunter Resources, and a qualified person as defined under National Instrument 43-101 -- Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. Mr. Kutluoglu is a professional geologist registered with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) and a fellow of both the Society of Economic Geologists and Geological Society of London.
