HORIZONS ETFS ANNOUNCES AUGUST 2023 DISTRIBUTIONS FOR ITS SUITE OF ETFS

Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) Inc. has declared the distribution amounts per security for its exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for the period ending Aug. 31, 2023, as indicated in attached tables.

The ex dividend date for the distributions listed in an attached table is anticipated to be Aug. 30, 2023.

The ex dividend date for the distributions listed in an attached table is anticipated to be Aug. 31, 2023.

Horizons ETFs held special meetings of unitholders of Horizons Conservative TRI ETF Portfolio, Horizons Balanced TRI ETF Portfolio and Horizons Growth TRI ETF Portfolio on Aug. 23, 2023.

During these meetings, unitholders approved all matters relating to proposed changes to the investment objectives (including changes to the currency hedging strategy of each asset allocation ETF) and, in connection therewith, changes to the fee structure and distribution policy of each asset allocation ETF that were previously announced in an information circular that was made available to unitholders.

The ex dividend date for the distributions listed in an attached table is anticipated to be Aug. 30, 2023.

The record date for all ETFs will be Aug. 31, 2023. The distributions for securities of each ETF will be paid in cash or, if the securityholder has enrolled in the respective ETF's dividend reinvestment plan, reinvested in additional securities of the applicable ETF on or about Sept. 8, 2023.

Distributions for the ETFs will vary from period to period.
