The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Horizons Active Floating Rate Senior Loan ETF will be delisted at the close on March 22, 2024, at the request of its manager, Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) Inc. According to the TSX, the exchange-traded fund (ETF) will be terminated at the close on March 28, 2024, and all outstanding Class E units of the fund (symbol HSL) will be redeemed on the termination date.
The TSX reports that any remaining securityholders of the ETF as at the
termination date will receive the net proceeds from the
liquidation of the assets, less all liabilities and all expenses incurred in connection with the dissolution of
the ETF, on a pro rata basis. As the securities trade in the book-entry-only system
of CDS Clearing and Depository Services Inc.,
securityholders need not take any action with respect to
receiving their redemption proceeds. Final distributions declared on the securities, if any, will be paid with the redemption proceeds on or about March 28, 2024.
For more information, see the ETF's news release dated Jan. 19, 2024, and the notice to securityholders dated Jan. 26, 2024.
