HPQ Silicon closes $306,120 private placement

2025-11-24 20:49 ET - News Release

Mr. Bernard Tourillon reports

HPQ CLOSED A NON-BROKER PRIVATE PLACEMENT

HPQ Silicon Inc. has closed a non-brokered private placement of 1,883,815 common shares at a price of 16.25 cents per share for gross proceeds of $306,120. The financing was completed with a European-based investment firm specializing in tailored, committed and flexible capital solutions for publicly listed companies such as HPQ.

Each common share issued under the placement is subject to a mandatory four-month-and-one-day hold period from the date of closing in accordance with applicable Canadian securities laws. The placement remains subject to standard regulatory approvals, including approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.

The net proceeds of the placement will be used for general working capital and corporate purposes, as well as to advance battery-related initiatives and continuing research and development projects.

"Closing a shares-only financing without paying any finders' fees demonstrates the strength of HPQ's value proposition," said Bernard Tourillon, president and chief executive officer of HPQ. "Although modest in size, this financing provides HPQ with additional flexibility and supports our ability to pursue the larger opportunities we are actively advancing."

About HPQ Silicon Inc.

In partnership with its research and development partner Novacium -- of which HPQ is a shareholder -- the company is advancing next-generation silicon-based anode materials (Gen3) for batteries, commercializing its Endura+ lithium-ion cells, and developing breakthrough clean hydrogen and waste to energy technologies, for which HPQ holds exclusive North American rights.

HPQ is also pursuing proprietary technologies to become a low-cost, zero-carbon-dioxide producer of fumed silica and high-purity silicon, with technical support from PyroGenesis Inc. Together, these initiatives position HPQ to capture growth opportunities in the energy storage, clean hydrogen and advanced material markets essential to achieving global net-zero goals.
