HAMPTON FINANCIAL CORPORATION ISSUES STOCK OPTIONS

Hampton Financial Corp. has issued fully vested stock options to purchase up to an aggregate of 3.05 million subordinate voting shares of the corporation at the price of 35 cents per share for a 10-year term. The stock options are subject to approval of the company's amended stock option plan by the TSX Venture Exchange and shareholders of the company.
