Horizons Active ESG Corporate Bond to trade on TSX

The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Horizons Active ESG Corporate Bond ETF will be listed at 5:01 p.m. on Sept. 20, 2021, for trading at the open on Sept. 21, 2021. According to the TSX, there will be 500,001 Class A units of the exchange-traded fund (ETF) issued and outstanding, with no securities reserved for issuance. The units will trade under the symbol HAEB, in Canadian dollars and under Cusip No. 44056D 10 2.

The TSX reports that the ETF seeks long-term moderate capital growth and to generate high income. The ETF invests in a portfolio of debt (including debt-like securities) of Canadian and U.S. companies directly, or through investments in securities of other investment funds, including ETFs. Each security in the ETF's portfolio must achieve minimum inclusion requirements based on environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics.

According to the TSX, the ETF expects to pay distributions to its unitholders on a monthly basis. The ETF's manager is Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) Inc., its transfer agent and registrar is TSX Trust Company at its principal office in Toronto, and its fiscal year-end is Dec. 31. As stated in its prospectus dated Sept. 7, 2021, the ETF will issue 500,001 units at $10 per unit in its initial public offering. It expects to close the offering before the open on Sept. 21, 2021.
